Canning Tomatoes
The summer of 2020 was the first time Bob and I tried canning tomatoes. We ended the fall with 50+ jars of tomatoes. By the last canning session, we had a pretty good system going.
Vegetable broth is an easy way to utilize those leftover scraps and vegetables about to go bad and saves from having to purchase broth with added ingredients and sodium that aren't required for a nutritious and tasty broth.
Trying new ways to make pizza crust has become a favorite way to occupy our Sundays while we are hunkering, waiting for the intense cold to pass.
This last week was the week of experimentation with tofu. Some meals turned out delicious and some we would not make again. Check out some recommendations based on our results.
